Becoming, 2026

There is a beautiful sense of surrender in Becoming. Paint seems to move from the centre outward, creating sweeping forms that feel at once like petals, water, stone and shifting landscapes.

Soft earthy tones meet charcoal, grey and creamy whites, flowing into one another with an almost natural rhythm. Look closely, and there are countless small moments to discover; stand back, and the painting becomes something altogether different — expansive, powerful and wonderfully alive.

What makes Becoming so captivating is that it never quite settles into one interpretation. Is it a flower opening? A landscape forming? Water rushing across the earth? Or simply paint finding its own path?

Perhaps that is exactly the point.

Becoming is not about arriving. It is about allowing ourselves to unfold.
